In the heart of South Tyrol, the Gustelier project stands as an innovative celebration of gastronomic culture. This space, conceived by the South Tyrol Hoteliers Association (HGV), represents the union of love for local culinary traditions and contemporary design, evoking the characteristics of the natural landscape of South Tyrol, creating an environment that invites exploration and learning.
The project stands out for its use of natural and recyclable materials, such as PEFC-certified chestnut wood, which symbolically refers to the trees that adorn the South Tyrolean landscape. The concrete floor, enriched with aggregates sourced from various areas of the region, creates a tangible connection with the territory. The curved shape of the wall, clad in wooden slats, houses interactive niches and historical objects related to culinary tradition. "We wanted to create a space that reflected our identity and our sustainability," says Marco Sette, emphasizing the commitment to an architecture that engages with the environment.

Gustelier is not just an exhibition center but a place for meetings and interactions, where cooking courses, exhibitions, and seminars take place. The open and flexible layout of the spaces allows for various types of events, from laid-back to receptions. The rear terrace, adorned with planters, symbolizes the freshness and quality of locally sourced products, offering a unique sensory experience. "We want Gustelier to become a point of reference for the community and a stage for the flavours of South Tyrol," says Herbert Hintner, a famous Michelin-starred chef and member of HGV, highlighting the project's mission to promote food culture and environmental respect.
